Boyang, an enthusiast for improving social good through international collaboration, joined Bridge as an Associate Director with close to 10 years of experience focusing on sustainability and international affairs. Prior to Bridge, Boyang was a project manager at ICLEI, leading various projects on city resilience and urban sustainable development. Before ICLEI, Boyang worked at the Embassy of Kingdom of Denmark in China. While with the Embassy, Boyang connected key agencies and stakeholders between two countries in driving policy planning on fields such as air pollution control, water management, and climate change mitigation and adaptation. Prior to that, Boyang spent four and a half years working with Beijing Ecology and Environment Bureau, where he was heavily involved with environmental governance related research and demonstrative projects requiring multilateral collaboration.
Boyang received his Master’s degree in Environmental Water Resources System Engineering from Cornell University and Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
